Climbskin Double-Sided Hand and Finger File
This pocket-sized, hand-made file is the perfect pair with our chalk and Climbskin to keep your skin in the best condition. Round out your kit and always know where it is thanks to the handy orange string that stands out in the gym or at the crag.
The wood is curved to give better balance and help you work around the natural contours of your fingers.
It comes with 2 replaceable sandpapers - 1 smooth and 1 abrasive - one on each side of the file.
You'll also get 4 extra sandpapers - 2 of each texture.
Purchased the climb skin hand cream and a skin file; it’s so easy to keep my hands in top shape for climbing now! I especially love the file; it’s small and easy to tuck away while the curved surface gives you lots of precision.
Keeps my fingers ready for whatever I throw at it. Highly recommended
I ordered from them because I know I love their chalk. Decided to try out some of their hand care products, which are equally as amazing. Shipping only took a couple days. In fact the first time I checked the tracking on my shipment it was already in the mailbox.
Curved file much better than the CVS/Walgreens beauty Emory Boards.
We use the finger file on a daily basis. Love the curved handle!
I like the curvature of the handle. It actually helps with it not slipping out of your hands while filing down calluses. The replacement sandpaper stuff will come in handy. They also make really good stocking stuffers for climbers since we rarely spend the time to take care of our fingers.
as with everything you sell its top quality, not cheap, but worth the price.
My body will allow me to climb multiple days in a row, but I’ve been struggling with bad skin. The double-sided hand and finger file has been a life saver. They picked two perfect grits. One for knocking down thick callouses, and the other for cleaning up loose edges. I tried getting by with sandpaper alone, but I threw this in the cart to qualify for free shipping the last time I restocked on chalk. It’s night and day better. Just do yourself the favor already!
Whether or I'm pulling plastic in the gym, sharp edges of sub-alpine limestone, or even the ultra polished holds of Rifle skin care is just as important as diet and beta. The climbskin file helps keep my hands and feet in sending condition.
The chalk and chalk balls are awesome, super quality like usual from Friction Labs. The file I purchased was also a great addition to order and really convenient to have based on its size and quality.
I recently ordered some ClimbSkin for my competitions. After having team practice on Friday, I applied ClimbSkin hoping for healed tips for my comp the next day. Thankfully my skin was ready to go and the comp went great with my tips lasting throughout. After the comp I applied some more to help speed up the healing process after thrashing myself for three hours. My only complaint about the product is it’s price, a bit higher than the competition, however it also has an advantage than none of competitors have: the non-greasy feel. It’s great being able to put the product on and not have a fear of touching anything. Overall a great product!
Great product to keep in my chalk pot and take down some of the ruff edges on the side of my tips and build up of calus at distal joint to prevent spilts.
Highly recommend climb skin. I've used most other hand repair products and although they are good, what I love about ClimbSkin is that I can use it before climbing and of course after. I love using it at night before bed, you wake up with climbing ready mitts!! Also, the skin file is radical. My hands look like I've just gotten a manicure, but I've got nice healthy callus, perfect for climbing!!
My order arrived faster than I anticipated and everything works great! :) This is my favorite new finger file!!
I was really pleased with the ClimbSkin Hand File I purchased from FrictionLabs. It came quick and in the regular mail. I had an issue ordering the file but FrictionLabs support was expedient in fixing the issue for me! Happy experience all around!
Love it. Works well on my calluses that have been causing me some pain recently while climbing. Im able to samd them down and soften up my hands after with the climb skin hand cream so i can be fresh for the next session! Keep up the good work!
It's ok. I still use regular sandpaper
The finger file is great with the two sides, and the climbskin with it gets your fingers in shape or back in shape in no time.
This stuff is awesome!
Climbskin Double-Sided Hand and Finger File
Using this file, along with the Climbskin cream, is key to keeping my hands in great shape to climb.
I love this product. I use it once or twice a week to manage my blisters/callouses and keep my hands smooth. A must-have for frequent climbers.
$10 dollars for 6 sandpapers is a great deal. I love how compact this file is. The bent shape does make contouring around fingers better, but makes it slightly harder to file palm callouses.
I liked the size and design of the file and was pleasantly surprised to see that a bunch of extra sandpaper was included in the package.
I've tried everything for my callouses and this file works the best! I've sandpaper blocks, pumice stones, nail files...none seem to work as well as this thing. It's affordable and also comes with replacement sandpapers! I pair this with the ClimbSkin moisturizer and it keeps my skin from ripping or getting flappers <3
Totally worth the price, works amazingly, comes with plenty of replacement pads
I kept loosing my hard earned callouses after long climbing sessions. I after adding this file to my post climb hand care routine, I have found my hands to be smoother and the skin is stronger. Fewer rips, tares and cracks :)
You know how chalk matters. Now think about this...so does your file. Not only does this file look awesome it also takes care of business better than that old fingernail file or that piece of sandpaper from the hardware store. This thing files evenly and it's size makes it nice to pull out at the gym and get that crease before it turns to a flapper. No joke ten dollars is cake for what this thing has done for my climbing.
